Everyone’s been asking us about our morning routine…
Okay, they haven’t. And admittedly we are not morning people. Something we do always allow time for though is our warm lemon water with sea salt to start our days. It's become a necessary first step to kick off our days, not to mention our digestive system.
We’re not here to be registered dieticians or nutritionists, we are just sharing something that’s pretty harmless that works for us. There are some benefits to this at-home morning drink and we feel it in our guts (literally) when we skip it. Start with pouring some sea salt into the bottom of your glass. Start with less, you can always add more!
Wash then slice your lemon in half. Using your squeezer, put half of a lemon juice into each glass.
Lastly, use hot water from either the sink or microwave water to warm in a carafe. Fill each glass from there.
Drink your warm lemon water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach - cheers!
